Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and DuetHire ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using DuetHire you accept them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

You must be at least 18 years old. If you use DuetHire for a company, you confirm you are allowed to act for it.

Keep your sign-in details secure and your information accurate. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at founder@duethire.com if you think it has been misused.

You must not:

• scrape, crawl or bulk-download DuetHire, or get around rate limits or access controls;
• post fake, misleading or discriminatory jobs, or jobs that charge candidates a fee;
• upload content that is false, infringes someone else's rights, or is not yours to share;
• cheat in assessments or AI interviews, or have someone else take them for you;
• misuse the recruiter email finder or outreach tools: send spam, bulk or unsolicited marketing, or harass anyone. You are responsible for making sure every message you send, and every email address you use, is lawful where you and the recipient are. Guessed email addresses may be wrong.
• break the law, or try to harm DuetHire, its users or its systems.

• Follow employment, anti-discrimination and data protection law in every hiring step.
• Use candidate data only to assess candidates for the role they applied to, and not for any other purpose.
• Make every hiring decision yourself. AI scores and summaries are assistance only; do not reject or hire anyone solely on them.
• Keep your team's access limited to people who need it.

Employers can ask candidates to take assessments and AI interviews. During an assessment we count how often you switch tabs or copy and paste, and share those counts with the employer. We do not record your camera, screen or microphone. If an employer turns on the face check for an AI interview, your browser checks on your device whether a face is in view and we store only flags with timestamps (for example no face, more than one face, camera off), never video or images. These flags are shown to the employer as information and never reject you automatically. Coding answers are run on Judge0 to check them against test cases.

Several features use AI to parse and tailor resumes, draft messages, generate questions, screen applications and evaluate interviews. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or biased. Review it before you use or send it; you are responsible for what you do with it. No hiring decision is made automatically; employers make every accept/reject decision. See how we use AI.

Paid plans are monthly or yearly subscriptions billed through Stripe. They renew automatically until you cancel, and we remind you in the app a few days before each renewal. You can cancel any time from your plan or billing settings in the app; you keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for, then move to the free plan. If a payment fails, we notify you and your plan may be downgraded.

Payments already made are not refunded, except where the law requires it.

You can stop using DuetHire and ask us to delete your account at any time (see your rights). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law, or that put other users at risk.

DuetHire is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that you will get a job or find a candidate, or that job listings, AI output or guessed email addresses are accurate. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and its courts have jurisdiction, unless your local law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell you before the change takes effect. If you keep using DuetHire after that, you accept the new terms.
